We can design individuals or intensives for you to include several different forms of therapy. We are proud to say we provide an individualized approach for each of our clients.
Somatic Experiencing works to balance the physiological and emotional distress that trauma can bring about. The goals for this type of therapy are to bring someone back to the present, explore choices, build stability in relationships and daily lives.
"Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing" is a powerfully effective method for pacifying the enduring impact of trauma. It works using sensory input (ie. lights, gentle buzzing from handheld devices or sounds) that switches from left to right. This sensory input dissolves chronic physical and emotional reactions to trauma.
This groundbreaking therapy helps people to identify defense mechanisms and create a map of what is occurring inside of themselves. Individuals focus on identifying wounds from our child self, addiction and self-medicating and managers that drive perfectionism and protect us. Individuals explore an internal map of how they are built and begin to untangle. The end result is returning to our true self unburdened by stress or trauma responses.
Hypnosis involves meditation scripts and clinical hypnotherapy for getting unstuck, smoking cessation, letting go of old beliefs or visualizing positive results. Add in sound therapy for a soothing experience or separate them.
Brainspotting utilizes relevant eye positions. Brainspotting is unlike traditional talk therapy. It locates sections in the individuals visual field that help to access unprocessed trauma. Brainspotting accesses this trauma at the source, deep within the brain. The goal with brainspotting is to heal the underlying trauma that contributes to anxiety, depression and other behavioral conditions.
We believe in the "whole person approach". The same techniques will not have the same affect for each individual. That is why we continue to learn new techniques in helping individuals experience relief and healing. We are here if an individual needs someone to confide in and help them to reach their personal goals.
The goals of these mini-intensives are to spend time clarifying goals and clearing obstacles in the relationship using state of the art counseling techniques.
Brain maps have been used to distinguish the electrical functioning patterns of the brain. Creating a map of the brain helps to understand how the brain regions are functioning together. Map results are reviewed with an experienced technician and the individual is provided with a report identifying results on brainwave activity.
Neurofeedback is a non-invasive scientific approach designed to re-train the brain to process and work more efficiently. This helps an individual to function in a healthier way. Neurofeedback helps create a real time result of what mental health issues are occurring. The goals of these sessions are to produce long lasting, non-medical induced results that train the brain to work better for an individual.
